Text by the Architect:

We looked to capitalise on the heritage of the area and developed a concept deeply grounded within the surrounding Subiaco context. The outcome will be a building of permanence and fine detailing, referencing neighbouring Deco verandas and shopfronts.

The unencumbered views to the South are prioritised, but not at the expense of the buildings’ thermal qualities and solar performance. There is depth to the façade with the glass set back into the composition, while a handful of arched moments add a sense of intrigue and delight.

Extensive landscaping covers the building, with planters from Level 1 and up, fully utilising the stepping building façade by creating generous soil depths and landscaping potential.
